Other Campus Project Information

Ferguson Campus Solar Project

As part of our long-term commitment to renewable energy and sustainability, PCWA is installing new solar carport structures at its Business Center on Ferguson Road. These solar improvements will generate over one million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity each year, helping reduce the Agency’s energy costs while supporting a more sustainable future.

To complete this work, the front parking lot will be closed during construction. Clear signage and parking maps will guide visitors to alternative areas. Tree Removal: To maximize solar production, five trees will be removed from the Business Center front lot in October 2025. Tree removal was necessary to ensure the panels receive optimal sunlight. PCWA is committed to balancing sustainability goals with stewardship, and the solar project will provide long-term environmental benefits
