From time-to-time, water outages will occur. A water outage could be planned or the result of infrastructure failure. The outage may impact treated water and/or canal water customers. For planned or scheduled water outages, PCWA does its best to inform customers in advance. For additional information about your canal, see Irrigation Canal Information.
To report an emergency water outage, please call PCWA Customer Services at (530) 823-4850 24-hours a day. Our after hours phone service and standby service crews are available to assist you.
Treated Water Outage Information
Currently, there are no scheduled treated water outages.
Irrigation Canal Outage Information
This year's outage in the Zone 1 service area is planned for Oct. 15 through Nov. 19, immediately following the 2013 irrigation season. PCWA is planning rotating 24-hours-on, 24-hours-off canal outages as needed in affected areas. Customer notifications are planned.
Each year, PG&E closes parts of its extensive canal system to perform needed maintenance work. To limit water delivery impacts to customers, PCWA often coordinates its own canal maintenance in the same time frame.
