District 1
Gray
Allen - Elected in November 2006, Mr. Allen is serving his first
term on the PCWA Board. He is a long-time public relations consultant
with clients in agriculture, high tech, transportation, banking
and building products. Before opening his own business, he held
management positions in international and corporate public relations.
Mr. Allen is currently a board member and past president of Roseville
Crime Stoppers, a board member of the Roseville Police Activities
League and vice chairman of the Roseville Planning Commission.
He represents District 1, which includes the Roseville area.
District 2
Alex
Ferreira - Mr. Ferreira is serving on the PCWA Board for the third
time. During his 24 years on the Placer County Board of Supervisors,
he also served as a director of the water agency. He was elected
to the independent PCWA Board in November 1998, and re-elected
in the 2006 election. He represents District 2, which includes
the City of Lincoln, most of the City of Rocklin and areas of
unincorporated Placer County. He is a former director of the Nevada
Irrigation District and the Gold Country Fair Board and a long
time member of the Placer County Farm Bureau. He is a farmer and
rancher.
District 3
Lowell
Jarvis - Mr. Jarvis is serving his third term on the PCWA Board
of Directors. He was elected in November 1996, and re-elected
in 2000 and 2004. He represents District 3, which includes the
City of Auburn, Town of Loomis, part of the City of Rocklin and
the communities of Penryn, Newcastle and Ophir. Mr. Jarvis holds
a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California,
Santa Cruz, and a Master's degree in Public Administration from
California State University, San Jose. He works for the State
of California.
District 4
Mike
Lee - (2008 Board Chair) -- Mr. Lee is serving his second term
on the PCWA Board of Directors, following his re-election in November
2004. He has a long background in public service, having served
four elected terms on the Placer County Board of Supervisors.
Mr. Lee represents District 4, which includes part of the City
of Roseville and unincorporated areas of Placer County, including
Granite Bay. A Loomis resident, Mr. Lee is the project manager
of the Twelve Bridges (master planned community) in Lincoln.
District 5
T.
Otis Wollan - Mr. Wollan is the senior member of the PCWA Board,
having held elected office since 1987. He represents District
5, an area that stretches from the western slope of the Sierra
Nevada to Lake Tahoe. The district includes the Bowman area east
of Auburn to Weimar, Colfax, Foresthill, Emigrant Gap, Soda Springs,
and the Lake Tahoe area. A Colfax resident, Mr. Wollan is an organizational
development consultant and coordinator of the American River Watershed
Group. He is the author and publisher of several books on sustainable
home design and solar and energy-efficient housing.
