Agency Map
PCWA's boundaries are coterminous with the boundaries of Placer County, California. Placer County is located immediately northeast of Sacramento County, approximately 100 miles northeast of the San Francisco Bay metropolitan area. The County occupies an area of approximately 1,500 square miles, which includes relatively level valley lands in its western portion and extends eastward into the Sierra Nevada Mountains to Lake Tahoe and the Nevada stateline.
